Challenge
One of the biggest challenges was ensuring the platform could address the highly varied needs of learners — from quick IoT project help to ongoing cricket coaching — without diluting usability. Building trust was another hurdle: mentors needed to feel credible, and students needed confidence in quality, which required clear vetting systems and review flows. From a business perspective, striking the right balance between flexibility and reliability was critical to differentiate Tutify in a crowded edtech space. Additionally, ensuring seamless onboarding and smooth user journeys became vital to prevent churn and maximize conversions.

Mission
Tutify’s mission is to redefine the learning experience by bridging the gap between students and skilled mentors across academic, creative, and personal growth fields. Unlike traditional edtech platforms that focus mainly on exam prep, Tutify positions itself as a flexible, human-centered alternative. The aim is to deliver value by helping learners achieve real-world outcomes, while also creating a scalable platform for mentors to reach a broader audience. This balance of learner empowerment and mentor visibility makes Tutify both impactful and sustainable as a business.

Goal
The goal of Tutify was to create a platform that not only simplifies finding and booking mentors but also establishes a new market for flexible, session-based learning. From a business standpoint, the objective was to reduce user drop-offs caused by rigid packages and irrelevant content, and instead capture learners who value personalization and speed. At the same time, Tutify aims to increase mentor retention and satisfaction by offering streamlined tools for visibility, reviews, and repeat bookings — ensuring consistent growth on both sides of the ecosystem.
